# Build a weekly decision brief

Give your team a concise account of what changed, why it matters, and what deserves attention next.

Status: Practical guide, version 1.0. Not an automated integration.

## Required inputs
- Your relevant marketing reports
- A record of recent changes and campaigns
- A named owner for each proposed action

## Process
1. State the reporting period and the question the brief addresses.
2. Select a small set of signals tied to that question.
3. Compare like periods and note tracking or campaign changes.
4. Write observations separately from possible explanations.
5. Choose up to three investigations or actions with owners.
6. Review the previous brief and record what happened after its actions.

## Human review
Annotate incomplete data, changes in measurement, and uncertainty. Do not attribute revenue impact to a change without an appropriate method.

## Illustrative output
Sample only. No real customer data.
- Observed — engagement changed after a site release
- Uncertain — tracking and content changed in the same period
- Next step — validate measurement before judging content impact

## Acceptance checklist
- [ ] The reporting period is explicit
- [ ] Each action has an owner
- [ ] Uncertainty is recorded beside the finding
